Recently I tweeted this on Twitter: “If you truly believe in the quality and benefits of your products and services, it’s reflected in your pricing, your copywriting, and your website. #webdesign” I got a great comment in the form of a question. “What if you decide to be generous in your pricing?” Though I gave a quick response on twitter, I also wanted to take some time and write a more indepth answer to the question “What if your pricing is generous? How Should Your Brand Emphasize the Value of the Price?”

So in this article, I hope to answer @Cryptsam’s question in a little more depth with a better answer that many people could benefit from.

Defining What is Branding and Why It Matters

Branding is the process of designing a company’s identity. It is a way for a company to stand out from its competitors in the marketplace.

Branding is about more than just your logo, tagline or social media posts. It’s about how you make customers feel and how they perceive your company in relation to their needs and desires.

Brand identity is what makes your brand recognizable and memorable to potential customers. It can be achieved through branding elements such as logos, slogans, colors, fonts, music, sounds and other sensory experiences that are unique to your company or product.

Branding Basics to Create a Strong Position in the Market

Unlike many businesses might guess, the value and strength of your position in a given marketplace has almost nothing to do with what you do, and everything to do with what you do better than your competition.

Especially in North America, small businesses can use branding to successful brands focus on improving their perceived value of products or services in comparison to their competition. So the elements of your branding should highlight how you triumph over the competition to solve key problems your target demographic is looking to solve.

For example, there are thousands of blogs out there that cater to teaching about SEO, Web Design, and Branding. But many of them don’t take budget into account. So I differentiate myself by highlighting the budget, efficiency and solo-preneur nature of my blog.

So a couple free strategies your small business can use to improve your price understanding?

  • discounts for return visitors.

  • Being confident in the value of your price and NOT Negotiating unless you absolutely need to.

  • Research market prices for similar products and determine a theoretical value for what makes you better!

You Need Unique Value Propositions!

A unique value proposition is an important part of a small business branding campaign. It’s what differentiates you from your competitors and tells your audience why they should do business with you.

A strong brand strategy is essential in order to stay on top of the competition. You need to make sure that you are choosing the right words, colors, and logo for your company in order to make it memorable and stand out.

For example, at Big Red Jelly, our unique value propositions are:

Branding Case Studies to Learn From Other Brands’ Successes

Branding is a process that is used to build an emotional connection between the customer and the company. The goal of branding is to make the customer feel like your company understands their needs and wants them as a customer.

The following are some examples of branded content that you can use for inspiration when you are coming up with new ideas for your own branded blog posts:

– Nike’s ‘Breaking2’: Nike tells the story of how they broke their own 2-hour marathon record in 2017. They show how it all started with a simple conversation about what could be done to break through barriers in running.

– Coca-Cola’s ‘Share A Coke’: Coca-Cola wanted to create an experience that would connect people on a personal level, so they created Share A Coke, which allowed

How You Can Use Logos & Symbols To Attract More Clients

A logo is a graphical symbol or emblem commonly used by commercial enterprises, organizations and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition. Logos are either purely graphic (symbols/icons) or are composed of the name of the organization (a logotype).

The first known use of the term “logo” was in 1892 when an unknown person used it in reference to a painting by Edward Penfield. The term comes from Ancient Greek λόγος (“word”) and γράφειν (“to write”). A logo may consist of just one word, such as Coca-Cola or Nike, but can also be made up of several words with spaces between them, such as “John Hancock Financial Services.”

More and more often, logos are simple, and utilize 1 or 2 max colors. An overcomplicated logo often is a source of confusion for customers and can make it easy to forget your value. So what’s the first thing you should do when starting a new pricing strategy for your business? Revisit your logo and see if it matches the Unique Value Propositions your brand has.

Brand Storytelling – How Brands Sell Their Values and Impact on Society

Brands are not just selling products, they are also selling values and impacting society.

Brand storytelling has evolved over the years and now brands are using branded content to sell their values and impact on society. Brands today want their customers to be more than just a customer, they want them to become an advocate.

Brands of the future will need to make sure that they stay relevant by creating good stories that people can relate with. Nike is more engaged in social dilemmas now than every before. Crypto currencies and day trading apps are positioning themselves as hero’s to the people! Make sure your brand is telling a story in addition to telling the story of your prices.
